James Hurley

James Hurley is a tattoo artist with 16 years of professional experience, known for his strong Neo-Traditional, Neo-Japanese, and illustrative work with a focus on fantasy-inspired imagery. After relocating to Michigan at age 32, James continued to refine his style and expand his artistic range.

While his primary focus remains bold, illustrative tattooing, he is also well-versed in black and gray realism, American traditional, and new school, allowing him to adapt to a wide variety of tattoo projects. James credits his growth and technical foundation to the guidance of Geary Morrill, Sean Peters, and Mike Riina, along with the many artists who have influenced his artistic journey.
